You might have heard some of the more well-known facts about Telluride, Colorado. Butch Cassidy robbed his first bank here in 1889 and stole $24,000, that is quite the haul back then. The world’s first alternating current power plant nearby gave Telluride the first streetlights before any other place on the planet. How cool is that! It’s also home to Bridal Veil Falls which sits at the east end of the box canyon, and is Colorado’s tallest free-falling waterfall at 365 feet.  It’s a magical place and your job as the head of the ski school program at the Telluride Ski Resort is to create fun.  Not a bad way to make a living.  Your ski-in ski-out cabin sits at just shy of 4,000 feet and the view from the hot tub is to die for, your wife and Swiss Mountain dog Cody compliment your style, you’re a lucky man.  Tonight, is the Telluride film festival and all the posh folks are in town.  You and your wife have been invited to this swanky soiree’.  Although Hob-knobbing is not your style, it’s certainly entertaining for a few hours.  Your jacket of choice: The Telluride Jacket, a jacket made for the mountains.  Made from Elegant quilted waxed cotton, a double layer of Primaloft insulation and a quilted silky taffeta lining.  You will fit right in.  Your wife emerges from the bedroom looking stunning…you whisper, oh my darling, you look wonderful tonight.

I like this coat. Lightweight but seems to be warm. Pockets are good and functional. Runs a touch small - I usually take a L but needed and XL.

Looks great and works great in the field. I can't tell you why they went with the Telluride reference in the product name--seems "highfalutin" but it's down to earth here in Wyoming. I bought a backup because it's going to get a lot of work and play.

A cool high quality jacket. My new go to favorite.
