The Rocky Mountains Quarter Zip

It’s the fall shoulder season in the Rockies, and the Aspens are glittering gold, The rivers are full of trout and the sky is one blue bird day after another.  You’ve planned a trip to visit your 25 year old daughter who lives near the Vail and Beaver Creek Ski resorts.  You have booked a day long fly-fishing float trip on the Roaring Fork River that meanders through an amazing valley overshadowed by the majestic Mt Sopris in Carbondale. Herds of big horn sheep and elk roam the terrain, bald eagles fly overhead and fat rainbow and cutthroat trout are waiting for your catch and release adventure- epic!  The day breaks with not a cloud in the sky. You meet your guide Danny from the amazing Colorado Angling Company and the adventure begins.  Great fun, great guide, simply an amazing day. The evening was spent grilling steaks at your rented condo in your rocky Mountains Quarter-Zip, a super cool top that provides good looking fashion and warmth.  Lucky Dad.
